Blue

Blue On Jango Radio

The guitar base E is tuned to a D as the key for this piece. It is a semi-classical guitar piece built on three themes with an overlay of strings in three parts. It moves the dominant "A" only at the end of the piece to give a harmonic heightening. The piece is melodic, rich and soothing, and has a light latin touch.

Waiting 4 U

Waiting 4 U On Jango radio

This piece plays on an ostinato with a swirling harmonic character to a simple single note piano. A string theme is introduced and then interwoven with the piano theme. A reflective piano piece that always evokes a response from the listener. I have had people speak of sailing, other of watching someone walk towards them on a country road, or sitting by a window on a rainy day. Where are you?

Simple Days

Listen to

Simple Days On Jango Radio

For those simple days where you can relax and reflect. This piece is for guitar tuned DGDGBE; it was written a few years ago and takes advantage of the tuning to give the guitar a stronger tonal depth. The piece is orchestrated after the melody is introduced on solo guitar. A great piece to play and to lose yourself in.

Ενα Φιλι

Listen to

Ena Fili On Jango Radio

This piano piece was written around 18 years ago and was the first part of a trio of piano pieces. "Into Night" is the second and the third is "Romance of a Seafarers Wife". It is a very romantic piece with a 'Ravelesque' opening and an unusual arpeggio that compliments the melody. The ending is very soft and has an indeterminate feel that lends itself to the move between scenes in a movie.
